Suntory will be releasing the "-196°C Flash Frozen Unsweetened Shikuwasa" for a limited time starting May 30th. "-196°C" is a long-selling brand that has been on the market since 2005. It is a non-sweet chu-hi with a robust fruit flavor, made by instantly freezing and grinding whole fruits. For this product, Suntory uses its proprietary "-196°C freezing method" to immerse Shikuwasa that has been flash-frozen and ground at -196°C in vodka, to extract the flavors trapped in the fruit peel.
